Bolton Man Guilty In Attempted Murder Of Wife

A Rockville Superior Court judge on Wednesday found a Bolton man guilty of three counts of attempted murder, two counts of first-degree assault and first-degree kidnapping. Immediately after the judge announced his verdict Wednesday morning, Tolland State’s Attorney Matthew C. Gedansky charged Corver with being a persistent dangerous felony offender.

John Corver’s defense attorney urged a judge Monday to convict Corver of first-degree assault for a vicious attack on his wife last year, but to acquit him of attempted murder.
