Student Health Services pharmacist arrested for fraudulent prescriptions

Michael Olzinski, a 46-year-old former UConn pharmacist with Student Health Services, was arrested on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 for fraudulently filling in prescriptions and providing controlled substances to friends and family, according to a police affidavit. House Fire Out In Bolton

The fire, which burned in a ranch-style home at 93 Tolland Road, started on the back porch and spread through the rear of the home, Fire Marshal Raymond Walker said. The fire was extinguished by 11:50 a.m. Firefighters from Bolton, Manchester, North Coventry and Tolland were at the scene.

New Britain, Bristol Students Among Those Eligible for Robert T. Kenney Scholarships

The American Savings Foundation is offering $750,000 through approximately 400 scholarships for students in the 2016-17 academic year. “This scholarship is renewable, so most of our scholars receive support from the foundation for all four years of college,” Maria Falvo, president and chief executive officer of the American Savings Foundation, said in a statement.
